(no subject)

Stupid Apple! When I checked my order status this morning my powerbook was still listed as shipping on 9/29. But then this afternoon it was all of a sudden listed as shipping 10/6! Grrr! You'd think that if they were so short on stock, or didn't have one of the right parts they would figure it out before the day it was supposed to ship! Well, I was warned that it was a bad time to buy any high tech equipment, because Mercury is in retrograde. At least it will be back to normal when it ships, so hopefully it won't get lost in transit!

oh, how annoying is that? Amazon.co.uk are the same for that sort of thing. You order a book (usually for a birthday present) then on the day you're expecting it to arrive, they change their mind
