I got an envelope in the mail from freyjakj today. There was a CD in it... It is a "raunch" mix. There is no playlist though (...hint...) so it is a mystery raunch list!
heh heh heh - That got there quickly! I hope you like it. It is a mystery raunch mix, but I am hoping the listing comes up for you okay on I-Tunes - it ought to. There may be a few "tracks"...
iTunes didn't list the names... :( So, here's what I've come up with: 1. Butterfly, Crazy Town 2. Milkshake, Kelis 3. Andamos Armados, Control Machete 4. Superwoman (Part 2), Lil' Mo 5. Stripped, Depeche Mode 6. Work It, Missy Elliot 7. weird unidentifiable Star Trek thing 8. Get Down, Make Love, Nine Inch Nails 9. Superstylin', Groove Armada 10. I Believe In A Thig Called Love, Darkness 11. Hey ya, Outkast 12. something instrumental 13. American Woman, Lenny Kravitz 14. Kiss, Tom Jones 15. Baby Got Back, Sir Mixalot 16. Tainted Love, Marilyn Manson 17. The Bad Touch, Bloodhound Gang 18. Burning Down the House, Tom Jones & The Cardigans 19. Banca Banca, E-Type
Yup, all on my own, with a little help from my friend Google. That one was the last one I figured out because I had to listen a bunch of times before I could get enough words I distinctly recognized and could spell correctly to put in Google after "lyric." Then when Control Machete was on one of the hits I knew that was probably it because P had recommeded them when I asked what I should spend my Coverville iTunes moola on. So I opened the lyrics page and followed along to make sure it was the right song. :)
Consider it a thank you CD for all the music you share. :-)
Actually, though, if I knew of anybody else who would appreciate a sexy cover done by Rammstein or raunchy hip-hop, then I would send them along a copy, too. :-)
Is the track of "Stripped" on there the Rammstein cover then, or is it teh Depeche Mode version? (I don't know my Depeche Mode as well as a child of 80's music should...*hangs head in shame*) I got most of the tracks figured out through lyrics searches, so can ya double check that I have the artists right?
Yay! It got there pretty quick! Hope ya like the CDs. The Minnesota one is more country and the Sex one is a lot of upbeat stuff. Everyone should own four songs titled "Minneapolis" 'cuz it's such a great city! :)

Make it so
The weird instrumental thing is Jimi Hendrix's Red House...or at least it should have been. eep@!
I thought you would appreciate a sexy Picard voice saying, "Make it So" in your raunch mix. *hee hee*
Enjoy!

Re: Make it so
Stipped was on Depeche Mode's Black Celebration album, I think.
I used to have just about every Depeche Mode album on Cassette, and I listened to them almost exclusively for a couple of years.
Anyway - You know your Duran Duran WAY better than I do. :-)
