Clean cats!

Gabe went to the vet today to have blood drawn because he is an old man, and will be having his teeth cleaned on Wednesday. He was a complete angel, as always, but he came home smelling like rubbing alcohol & vet so Lump had much hissing for him... So I decided to wash the vet smell off:



But... Lump was still hissing. I figured that even though Gabe didn't smell like vet anymore, he also didn't smell like Gabe. So of course I came to the conclusion that I should make Lump smell like Gabe:



And... I emerged with NO scratches or bites! :)
Wet cats are so cute, and so sad at the same time!
Now I must make an icon out of the pissed off Lump picture.........
Those of you who have only seen the Gabester in pissed-off party mode might have a hard time believing this, but he was MUCH better while being bathed!

Gabester was actually pretty mellow about it, luckily, because the camera was on the dining room table! As you can see with Lump, I'm holding her in for the sink picture. But, I was smart enough to put the camera within arm's reach.

Wow... Lump looks even more pissed than my Sophie did at the vet!

I think it's weird how one cat will hate the other cat if they smell funny. I've never bathed mine to fix it, though. You have very tolerant cats!
