Update on hellbob's sister

hellbob spent the afternoon with his sister and her husband. Everyone is still in shock, but they are managing. They already have some cash from the insurance company for immediate needs.
Despite several offers of places to stay, they plan on staying in a hotel because they are stressed enough without feeling like they are in someone's way. The insurance will put them up in an apartment next week so they can stay over on their side of town. Last night they stayed with Don's parents but then this morning his dad asked them when they were going to the Anoka house to stay. Yeah, your son's house burns down, you live a mile from them, and you think they should go stay at a house an hour away. Whatever! So they're staying in a hotel.
The main thing they need right away is clothes. The girl is 6 1/2 years old, and the boy is 4 1/2.
We have no idea what Julie & Don's sizes are other than that Don wears a size XL t-shirt, and generally just wears t-shirts and jeans for work.

Oh, foot in mouth - I'm sorry, I just read the post I responded to. I'm so sorry to hear about the fire that took away hellbob's sister's home. It's awful, and the pictures are terribly sad.

My condolences and thoughts to you and yours.

Thank you for your kind words. The family is doing fine, they're just still in shock. As the family photo geek I already have plans for scanning my copies of all their wedding pictures (while cursing myself for giving them the negatives... it seemed like a good idea at the time) and whatever family pictures I have.

I don't friends-lock much, usually just if I'm bitching about work or something, but I do have my "perv" filter. At this point it is mostly Spike/BtVS fandom stuff like photo manips I've done and links to fanfic. I saw that you have BtVS as an interest, but I don't know if you care about that stuff. Just let me know and I can add you to that one. It's mostly there so that my "normal" friends don't have to deal with the vampire porn. *grin* (or if there's something my sister just doesn't need to know about me!) It's not limited to fandom, that's just been the majority of it lately since I'm still going "OMG! I met James Marsters!!"
