It's late, I'm old & tired, but I've gotta share the love:

The concert fucking rocked!

But I had no caffeine most of the day cuz I'm stupid so I've got a monster headache going on, plus an occular migraine just started so I'm gonna go drink a bottle of nyquil and dream about Wild Boys!

Thanks!
The concert was so amazing. I've been a Duran Duran fan for almost twice as long as I've known Mr. HellBob. John Taylor was one of my first crushes. I still can't believe I was really as close as I was.

Wow! Those are some great pictures! I've only been to one concert in my life (about 5 years ago; it was No Doubt, but we only went because Lit was opening) and the opening act was really good, but I've never been a No Doubt fan. I got really scared because the crowd almost crushed us. Some jackass behind us yelled to his friend, "Hey! Let's start pushin' people!" So they did, causing the crowd to wobble back and forth, and some people to lose their footing and fall. I felt like I was about to be ripped in half. Luckily, Kassi managed to pull me out of the crush, and we got to a part of the room that was barely populated at all. We watched the rest of the concert from the back wall.

Ugh. That doesn't sound fun. General admission seating can be a bit scary sometimes. But I love it when I'm going to see Martin Zellar or the Gear Daddies because I will be that chick who pushes her way to the front.
The Duran Duran concert was all assigned seating and the security guys did a decent job of keeping people back until the encores. With all my screaming I'm amazed I have a voice today!

Oh yeah! My first look at John, in those leather pants.... *sigh*
And I'm pretty sure Simon has sold his soul to the devil because he really hasn't aged all that much...

Thank you! Our seats were so good that those photos are straight from the camera to the computer & up to the net with no tweaking or cropping at all!
I still can't believe I was four rows from Duran Duran!!!!!

I'll be burning CDs of the photos for all my friends who went. I'll also be nabbing copies of my friend Lisa's photos too.

Yeah, now I can forgive Kathy for not letting me go see Power Station way back in the day. Was it you that went to that concert, or was it Danielle? I know it was right around the time I had just met the two of you...
