a husband, a cat, and a pair of scissors

You should never leave your husband alone with the cat when there are scissors in reach. This is why:

Here is a close up of [livejournal.com profile] hellbob's work:

I, on the other hand, did not use the scissors on the cat. I used them on fabric and made myself a very pretty blue with flowers skirt. I had also made myself a red one last week. I was getting very annoyed at not being able to buy floor length skirts, because they just don't make them for people who are 5' 9.5" tall. So I decided that I must teach myself how to sew. And I did a pretty darn good job, if I may say so myself!

The cat put up with that?

None! Gabriel will sit and complain until he is hoarse, but he's too lazy to just get up and walk away! Poor kitty! Hellbob has done this before, just on the end of the tail, so I know it will grow back.

Poor Gabester!!! Of course, you could pair him up with my Sophie right now. I had to cut a few mats out of her fur, and she has 3 bare stripes on her side.
