Tron dude

Ya know, every year after CONvergence you hear about something you missed. Apparently there's just too much going on, and we haven't figured out how to be in two places at once... One drama that I hadn't heard anything about, and I never even saw the guy in costume so I didn't even know he was there, was the guy who made the TRON costume on the Live Journal panel. This entry seems to sum up the drama that ensued.

I forgot about that. I saw him briefly in one of the rooms. The suit was actually pretty well done for an amateur effort, but he was definitely not well served by wearing spandex. Then again, cons are the epicenters of unlicensed and unwanted spandex...

I wish I had a videotape at that panel. I'm amazed at how cool jmanna stayed -- I would have strangled the guy.

I was ready to strangle the guy for jmanna. He acted like she was responsible for all the negative attacks because she did not say "Oh...poor you..they all suck and should be flogged!"

Other than that...it was a pretty cool panel! I enjoyed it alot.

JManna and I were roommates so she told me about this! I couldn't believe it! What an asswipe!! I thank God that I didn't see his costume but I did see pictures and things of him and really nut cup would have been really appreciated!
