I know he's not perfect, but dear god, it makes me nearly giddy with excitement to know that the next president is smart.

All the little geeky bits are a nice reminder, but HOLYFUCK, the next president of the world's only remaining "super-power" is not a dumbass. Isn't that awesome?

No, he's not perfect, but he's probably about as close as a politician can get. He hasn't been in politics long enough yet to become completely corrupt.

And thank all the gods that may or may not exist that we have a president again whose IQ has 3 digits in it!!!!! And he actually knows how to use "the internets" and "the Googles." He's got the MacBook and his family has one back home so they could stay in touch with video chat while he was campaigning.

Also, is it wrong that I find our new president to be kind of hot?

I am so relieved that we have a president with a *brain* now. Whew. And is up-to-date on the normal things that people use.

There's one girl on my flist who, while Obama was still a presidential hopeful, would use the tag "philf" for all her Obama posts. Now that he's going to be president she tags Obama posts with "That hotass in the white house." LOL

They look like either external USB Jaz drives or USB 3.5" floppy drives. (I only say this because I have a couple laying around, and they look a hell of a lot like that. Look at the horizontal slot facing the camera.
