Alas, I don't have cable TV. er.. um.. this isn't related to http://www.meerkatmanor.org/about.html is it? "In 1996 Julian and Jackie started shopping for a house. The goal was to have a nice big home in San Francisco and to share the home with wonderful folks who we collaborate with on art projects, geek projects, and generally getting all one should from life."

Odd coincidence.
..nope, nope.. I see Animal Planet is quite specific about the difference "Meerkat Manor is a soap opera with a difference – the main protagonists are 12 inches high, live underground in burrows and survive on a diet of worms, insects and lizards."

Unless Animal Planet's 12 inch high residents are named Julian and Jackie.

It's soooo adorable.
They gave them all names, and Flower is in charge and she doesn't want any of the other females to get any but Tosca & Daisy have already gotten it on with Carlos who is from a neighboring family group, and Shakespeare got bit by a puff adder in the first episode and is injured now and they almost lost one of the babies.
Plus, Meerkats = teh cute!
