Question for my minions

I've got a movie on my computer that is in .mpg format. What program can I use to watch this? Don't forget, I'm using a Mac.

Both Windows Media Player and Quicktime went "Buh?" when you tried to play that video file. Trust me - VLC will play it.

Hooray! It works! I can now watch the copy of Chance I downloaded. (Written & directed by & staring Amber Benson - Tara on Buffy - and I'm sure you woulda guessed but it also has my favorite peroxide blond undead in it...)

Yes, it does. I tested the movie on my laptop over lunch and it plays! :) Hooray for the internets!
