XXX was not a smart movie. Nor was it in any way believable. What it was though was a hell of a lot of fun. Vin's character pulled several stunts that were so way out there they make the Dukes of Hazzard look like it's possible. But, if you turned off your brain & just went along for the ride it was worth it. Besides, looking at Vin Diesel for 2 hours, where's the problem in that?
