I wanna go to Africa!

Animal Planet & Life Magazine are sponsoring a photo contest. You need to enter an original animal photo and all entries will be judged by a panel of judges from LIFE Magazine based on the following equally weighted judging criteria: 1) quality of photo, 2) originality and 3) ability to evoke emotion.

Some of the ones I am considering are:
Lana chasing Nika:

or the lynx:

Also, the contest doesn't specify color or B&W which gives me more choices!

Like the portraits I did for my B&W class:

If any of y'all feel like giving advice on which picture I should enter, my online gallery is here: http://www.dreamflyte.com/gallery/Sharon

Also, pics can either be emailed in or actual prints mailed in. My brain thinks that they will give more consideration to the actual printed ones than the digital ones. What do you think?

I really like the first one with the tigers. I like the variations in the way the light is hitting the water vs. the leaves.

I'm kinda partial to that one too. How sad/obsessive is it that I can tell just by looking at their faces which one is Lana & which one is Nika? :)

A little obsession never hurt anyone. Just as long as it doesn't involve boiling anyone's pet rabbit! LOL :p

Nice pictures. I would go with the first one myself.

I agree the first photo has the most interest/personality.

I really like the photo of the tiger's chasing.
