Do hamsters live in the wild? Is there some wildlife sanctuary where all the wild hamsters run free? Or do they exist solely in cages, habitrails, and hamster balls? Everyone knows about the different species of wild cats, and the different dog-type species that they are domesticated from. But you never hear about the ferocious hamster pack striking fear in the hearts of man. I want to know where the hamster's native habitat is!

Thank you! Do they live in packs, striking fear in the hearts of men, viciously killing & maiming all who get in their way? It would be so much more interesting if they did!
